Asphalt Overlay Specification Performance Grade | Products

This specification includes requirements for an asphalt binder and aggregate mix for a non-structural asphalt overlay. It specifies either a Performance Grade Asphalt (PG) 58-22, 64-10, 64-16, 64-28, 70-10 or a Performance Based Asphalt (PBA) Grade 6a, 6a (mod), 6b or 7 as required by the prevailing temperatures as well as gradations for the aggregate binder materials. It references AASHTO tests and asphalt properties that must be met in the quality of the materials.
